The Year's Ending, Time to Make a New List

Well, okay, so I never had a list of what I wanted to do for the past years. This is going to be the first time I'll be putting goals down. Maybe before the year ends, I'll even have a bucket list of long term goals. I never made a list, because I always thought that plans always don't push through.

But not anymore. I haven't thought like that for a more than a year now and now, I like planning years to come.

Now before I start writing down my plans for 2014, here are some stuff that happened in 2013.

  1. I backpacked through five countries in 16 days.
  2. I backpacked with some friends and the boyfriend locally.
  3. I opened a new bank account.
  4. I got my stock portfolio.
  5. I started blogging again.
  6. I started an emergency fund and travel fund.
  7. Lost 10 kilos.
I guess seven should be good for now, I mean, those seven things aren't exactly what a lot of people accomplish together. Here's what I plan to do for 2014.
  1. Lose more weight. (Tch, typical New Year's resolution)
  2. Read more books.
  3. Travel more. Internationally and locally.
  4. Keep my emergency fund growing.
  5. Grow my portfolio.
  6. Keep blogging.
Six things. They're all so broad though. Maybe I should be more specific to make sure the goal is attainable.
  1. Lose at least five kilos.
  2. Read all three of my Dale Carnegie books.
  3. See Hong Kong.
  4. See Boracay.
  5. Get my emergency fund up to at least PhP 50,000.
  6. Buy at least P12,000 worth of stocks.
  7. Blog at least twice a month.
Whew, what a checklist. And four of them require money. Now I wonder how I'll pull it off. We'll just have to wait and see.
