Early Morning Run
A few days ago, my co-workers and I made plans to go for an early run. We have a marathon to run this coming Sunday and we weren't planning on getting cramps or getting injured while walking/running when the big day comes. It was kind of going to be a picnic/work out session, because they asked me to bring along croquettes, hence the post about them last night.
We decided to jog at the Jardin Maria Clara, where the butterfly sanctuary is found and where there was enough space for joggers to go around and around. It wasn't a sports center where you can see everybody doing various sports, but it sure was closer to home and the terrain is well, not easy.
Here's the starting/end point:
See that hill? There's about two of those in this park. I usually do 5kms in each run, but today was just not my day. It's the first time I ran up a hill, down, then up again. I ended up with 2.64kms and ran slower than my average today.
Just you watch, hill, I will conquer you one day!
I brought croquettes! I didn't bother taking a picture of them, because we took them running and needless to say, they didn't look as appetizing as they did last night. But they stopped caring about the whole presentation when they started eating. Can you tell which R jogged more than the other?
We were expecting more of us to come, but only three of us made it. So we had enough croquettes to take home. Man, those croquettes can really fill a person up, and put all your hard work on the trail down the drain.

Meet my jogging buddies. I should start calling them R and R, since their names start with R's. Well, the other one's name starts with an E, but he prefers being called something different. Wow, they look really short in this picture. Must be the shorts. Hmmm.
